Mr. President, Please look at the following for a solution to the economic crisis. Give all legal citizens 60 years old and older $1,000,000 each. They would be required to pay off mortgages, buy a new car, retire early, pay off credit card bills and all other major expenses. This would stimulate housing market, auto industry, banking, employment any many other areas of economy. By doing this, people would buy new houses, renovate old ones, retire early and open up the employment arena. People could travel more, support their kids and grand kids, make education for their family easier, buy health insurance and open up alot of areas for our youth. The people can stimulate the economy with this money and not the government. The people control the economy and the bill for this plan would cost only Millions instead of Billions and Trillions that have already been spent or planning on spending in the future. Let the people control the economy with money and not the big industry companies. This is a much easier solution than you have at the present. Please consider this plan and the the American people help you to make the United States get back on our feet. To Yescor.....I think you miss the entire page of the website. Scroll over "economy/taxes" and the drop down menu for "2009 stimulus"

Great site- but I am suprised and dissappointed that in the Economy section, you do not have any entries or grades for the 800 Billion dollar stimulus. You only have a grade on the omnibus spending budget bill signed right after the historic stimulus. It should be given an F since it is hardly a stimulus. It is an outrageous total sham and misuse of taxpayer money! Amazing when you consider how Obama sold and rammed it down in the name of crises.

and people thought Bush was bad. Under Obama, just in 6 months alone we have had more spending than all previous presidents combined, highest unemployment rate in the last 26 years, government take over of large companies, increase tenions with Iran and North Korea.....

It really all depends on what they are in prison for. How violent was the crime they committed?

well, Garrett Prisons no longer rehabilitate or help a person turn their life around. Some people made mistakes or bad choices in their life, and deserve a second chance. If you had a family member in a Federal Prison, would you still want to KILL them or send them to Anartica??? What a cruel, self-righteous belief!

To m913: Wow...you make no sense. First, the grade our site page does have a poll on it. Maybe you just need to get a new computer because it seems website pages take too long to download for you. And second, the grading system is NOT out of date.. Common sense shows they have graded Obama on all issues starting from day one..hence the dates !!!
